Join the Wrightsville Beach Originals, family and friends in honoring the life of Skip Flowers. We will congregate at Johnnie Mercer’s Pier on Saturday May 18 at Sunrise (6am) and have a small memorial on the beach for Skip, paddle out to release some of his ashes and then catch some waves for him, in his memory.
Skip was born in 1952 and grew up surfing on Wrightsville Beach. He was one of the first people to surf Wrightsville Beach and passed on his love of surfing and the ocean to his daughter Hillary, who stills surfs WB regularly.
