Must Read- Help regulate the line up!

Hi Tony-

Last night before dark I was surfing just north of Mercers. There was a pack of guys surfing right on the pier and the cops came up and started blowing horns, blowing whistles, and just generally trying to get the guys to move off the pier. WEll, they decided to blatantly defy the cops and stayed right where they were, so the cops styed there until they got out. They arrested a few of them - literally "cuffed and stuffed" - and detained several others on the beach for a long time. Can you put out the word that defying the cops makes us all look bad and puts our already delicate situation under the microscope? Seemed like they were younger guys, maybe even new UNCW students. Not sure.
