Offshore Drilling Hearing Thursday April 26th

The US Interior Dept. is having only one public hearing in NC on offshore drilling off our coast. The hearings are in Wilmington on Thursday, April 26, at 1 and 7 p.m. in the Hilton, 301 N. Water St. Oceana  and other local environmental groups and ocean advocates are encouraging folks who oppose offshore drilling to sign up to speak at the 7PM hearing. This coalition also invites groups and citizens concerned with protecting our coastal environment to gather at 6 p.m. in front of the Hilton to raise awareness about the dangers of offshore drilling.
