Afternoon Update

Not looking that great for the surf this afternoon.  Maybe it will increase in size as the tide continues to rise but right now it’s lacking in size and form.  It has that wonky Eastery chop to it that’s causing bumps in the faces from start to finish.  I didn’t see one surfer in the water from the pier to Blockade Runner.  The lack of traffic and people on the beach is quite surprising.  Maybe more than usual people are going to take this storm seriously.  I’m not sure how many reports will be done in the next several days as it will be hard to get back on the beach if the bridge closes.  I’d rather be safe than risk any reports.  Hopefully, the power will stay on and we can watch the cams until then.   Everyone be safe.
