Afternoon Update:   Probably the worst it's been all day.  The tide is still pretty high and there is absolutely no form to the waves on the outside.  There may be a few rideable shore break waves if you are lucky enough to stay in the right spot and get one.  I'd say it's not really worth it.  Regardless, there are still some people on the beach in the rain trying their best to enjoy the day.   A Farewell and Thank You from Tony B!

Surfing Code Of Ethics!  2012 WB Surfing Regulations and Zones.... HERE!  Surfboard leashes are required year round in Wrightsville Beach. Please follow the rules and wear leashes on all surfboards. If you forget your leash just stop by Sweetwater and leave your license to borrow one.

  • No Logos = Flat or Really Bad. Pretty much unrideable! A good time to get other things done.
  • 1 Logo = Rideable but not good form. Might not be worth the time or effort but there could be a few okay waves.
  • 2 Logos = Could be fun. Rideable and a few okay waves to be ridden.
  • 3 Logos = Fun! Better than the average day. Worth paddling out depending on the surface conditions.
  • 4 Logos = Really fun. Paddle out if you can. One of the better days of the year.
  • 5 Logos = Rare Epic or All Time conditions. Quitting work or skipping school is an option but not encouraged. Why are you still reading the report! Paddle out now!
