Afternoon Update:  The wind has definitely picked up making it pretty bumpy now.  Quite a few people out catching some okay waves.  Looks best for a log or fish though fo sho.  Since it's so hot I would go and get wet while there is still a little wave.  Congrats to all the winners today at the Hurley Rip My Shred Stick.  Buy $50 worth of Hurley product and you get a free custom pair of Hurley Supersuede baggies or T-shirt between 3-6pm.  Stay tuned for more updates.   A Farewell and Thank You from Tony B!

Surfing Code Of Ethics!  2012 WB Surfing Regulations and Zones.... HERE!  Surfboard leashes are required year round in Wrightsville Beach. Please follow the rules and wear leashes on all surfboards. If you forget your leash just stop by Sweetwater and leave your license to borrow one.

  • No Logos = Flat or Really Bad. Pretty much unrideable! A good time to get other things done.
  • 1 Logo = Rideable but not good form. Might not be worth the time or effort but there could be a few okay waves.
  • 2 Logos = Could be fun. Rideable and a few okay waves to be ridden.
  • 3 Logos = Fun! Better than the average day. Worth paddling out depending on the surface conditions.
  • 4 Logos = Really fun. Paddle out if you can. One of the better days of the year.
  • 5 Logos = Rare Epic or All Time conditions. Quitting work or skipping school is an option but not encouraged. Why are you still reading the report! Paddle out now!
