Afternoon Update:  There might be a little wave somewhere on the beach but there's not much out front.  I thought I saw a nifty mid-break further north of the shop, but even then it would be tough with all the swimmers in the water.  Probably would be best to wait for later when it's less crowded on the beach and cooler.
