The Wrightsville Beach Museum Board is stoked to announce that the 2021 Waterman’s Hall of Fame Ceremony is going to be held this year at Waterman’s Brewery on October 16 from 7 PM-10 PM. The Ceremony will be held outside and will follow Covid Related Guidelines.
A total of 5 nominees will be chosen from the following categories; surfing, fishing/boating, ocean rescue/swimming, beach culture, sailing, and diving. We are also adding two new categories for eligibility this year; Paddlesports (ie Paddleboarding and Ocean Canoe Racing) and the Ohana/Group category for families or groups that have positively impacted watersports in the region.
Applications can be downloaded at wbmuseumofhistory.com and are due via mail or email at the Museum by 5 PM on September 17.
