There are still a few fun waves behind the shop this afternoon. The wind has picked up since the last report and there is some more texture on the water. It still looks a little too deep in some spots but the outgoing tide should help improve that this afternoon. I spotted a pretty decent sized Mike surfing a Sharpeye Modern 2 and he snagged a few decent waves. I think it is worth the paddle out if you have the time and hopefully conditions will improve as the tide drops and wind starts shifting west. *Oneill/Sweetwater Pro-am is set for Aug. 16-18!
