Afternoon Update: The wind has seemed to have beat down the size of the surf since the last update. Most waves were in the thigh high range with a couple waves pushing waist high. It seems like a bit of a wait for the set waves and the smaller waves inbetween don't seem to be offering all that much. There were some guys out up the beach and the guys on the longboards were getting all of the better waves. With that being said I would grab something with some float to it. Keep checking the live cam for any changes before dark.

A reminder also, paid parking started Tuesday 3/1/2016 on Wrightsville Beach. Parking rates are $2.50 per hour or $15 per day.
