Mid-afternoon Update: Still looking fun out there, and even more so because it feels like full blown summer on the beach. Waves are still in the thigh-waist range, although its looking softer than earlier with the tide starting to fill back in. It will stay clean as long as this SW wind stays light. There is still enough push to get waves on a shortboard, but it was looking like at least a fish would be the call to deal with the fast walls and then mush shoulders. You would likely catch a lot more waves on a log. Tons of people are out enjoying the beach and the waves, so I would go get out there and enjoy it before it while we still have temps up in the 80s!
