Mid-morning Update: Just got out and had a blast. Solid swell coming in. Light chop to it but it's still really fun on the sets. To all new UNCW students and visting surfers. Be respectful, split the peak, and wear your leashes. Many people have worked really hard the last three years to improve the surf zones here in WB so that you can have more room and surf pretty much anywhere during the day. Not wearing a leash could get you a $100 ticket. You aren't impressing anyone losing your board and having to swim in for it.
