Afternoon Update: Looks the best now. A little chop but most waves have a pretty clean face. Quite a few guys are out but most were missing some of the bigger sets. Maybe as the tide keeps filling in, it'll get a little better form. Check back later for more updates. A big thanks to Hank Carter and Jonathon Calhoun for putting on the 1st Annual Hoops From Helen Basketball Tournament this past weekend to benefit the Hope From Helen Foundation. There were 18 teams and some great talent there. Congrats to the Surf City Team for taking home the win.

Surfboard leashes must be worn at all times of the year while surfing in WB no matter what size the surf is or what size board you are riding. It's against the law to even have a board on the beach strand without a leash. Follow the rules at WB and we can enjoy the freedom of surfing in WB. All it takes is one idiot that hurts someone when not wearing a leash and it could go back to surfing in two block areas and those areas rotating every day of the month. Don't be that idiot!
