Lunchtime Update: Despite it approaching dead-low tide, the surf looks pretty fun. It's crumbling on the outside and then hits the inside sanbar hard, but with plenty of face to get some turns in. There were only a hanful of guys out and it looked like they were fighting the drift so keep that in mind if you paddle out. With the wind is slacking and the tide rising again soon it could potentially get even better than it is now. Have fun if you surf! Surfboard leashes are required year round in Wrightsville Beach. Please follow the rules and wear leashes on all surfboards. If you forget your leash just stop by Sweetwater and leave your license to borrow one for the session. Don't forget to pay the parking meters and pay lots that started March 1st and No Dogs on beach April 1st.
