Mid-morning Update: The first thing is that the wind is blowing harder and it actually feels colder now than when I first left got outside this morning. It's also making it tougher to get a good wave. They are looking a little better with the lower tide, but what it's up against is just enough west to knock it flat later and just enough south to take the top off the wave now. A couple of the guys out got a nice turn or two, but no one is getting long rides or anything really good. The good ones I saw were lots of work to get into and then lots of work to get up speed. We'll see what happens. Check back in a few to see what a lower tide will produce.
