Sunrise Report: A big change in weather and wind. The wind is blowing hard out of the NE and it's much cooler this morning too. I'd wear some rubber if you decide to surf just to keep the wind chill off of you. The surf has some size to bit's choppy and drifty. I'm sure someone could catch a good one but it's hit or miss on getting one that looks fun. At least it's rideable though. Keep and eye on the wind on the Wblivesurf.com Live HD cam and Live weather station between reports.
Surfboard leashes are required year round in Wrightsville Beach. Please follow the rules and wear leashes on all surfboards. If you forget your leash just stop by Sweetwater and leave your license to borrow one for the session. Don't forget to pay the parking meters and pay lots that started March 1st and No Dogs on beach April 1st.
