Lunch Time Update: The wind has backed off and it looks fun out there for a longboard or shortboard. There are only two guys out from what I can see, so I would get on it before a crowd forms or the conditions change. It being dead low right now it is a little dumpy on the sandbar but with the incoming tide I think it will be worth it. If you wait, make sure you keep an eye on the elements on the Wblivesurf.com Live HD cam and Live weather station between reports.
Surfboard leashes are required year round in Wrightsville Beach. Please follow the rules and wear leashes on all surfboards. If you forget your leash just stop by Sweetwater and leave your license to borrow one for the session. Don't forget to pay the parking meters and pay lots that started March 1st and No Dogs on beach April 1st.
