Lunchtime Update: The incoming tide has improved the surf somewhat. Much more makeable lines than earlier, and there are still some alright sets if you can wait for them and if they don't closeout. The wind is pretty much going to be north all day so it should stay somewhat clean. I think now with the incoming tide is the best bet, and maybe there are better high-tide sandbars if you look around. Have fun if you surf. Caution while surfing Oceanic Pier due to missing pilings at end of pier. Mention the surf report and get 15% off any new board that isn't yellow tagged.
Surfing Code Of Ethics! Surfboard leashes are required year round in Wrightsville Beach. Please follow the rules and wear leashes on all surfboards ALL THE TIME. If you forget your leash just stop by Sweetwater and leave your license to borrow one.
