Lunchtime Update: For a longboard the surf may be rideable, but it is very weak on the outside and breaks fast and shallow on the inside so it didn't seem too appealing to me. There was one paddler trying the break right out front and a few loggers down closer to mercers but no one seemed to be catching anything great, more along the lines of a cruise. The tide filling in has made it weaker than earlier but there is a little holdover swell from these past few days. If nothing else it is clean and the wind seems to have calmed down some from earlier so it might not be as chilly either. Have fun if you get wet, and enjoy your day regardless!
