Sunrise Report: Not looking good. Very small, long wait, closing out, light bump, light sprinkle of rain, etc. I'm going to work. I didn't see anything that looked fun. It looked frustrating to say the least. Nobody out that I could see in either direction. Keep your fingers crossed for some surf this upcoming week. Good time today to catch up on things that need to be taken care of. To all the new UNCW and CFCC students…welcome from a UNCW alumnus. However, please be respectful and wear your leash. You didn't live through the 2 block surf zone we use to have so please follow the rules of the beach so that everyone who accesses the beach is safe. Wearing a leash is a sacrifice we made to open up the beach for more surfing area. Wearing your leash protects other surfers and swimmers. It's also a $250 fine. Also, please leave any attitudes out of the water. If you were a pro we'd be watching you on the computer surfing against Slater. Being respectful isn't just for the college students. That goes for everyone. Thanks for understanding and enjoy a special place to live. Click on links directly below to learn about surfing regulations in WB and surfing etiquette.
