Lunchtime Update: The tide and hard winds have really messed up the small wave we had out there earlier this morning. Most waves were in the knee to thigh high range. There was only one guy out surfing and the rest were on SUP's, which looked to be the best option for the time being. Even the guys on the SUP'S were having a difficult time getting into the set waves. Maybe as the tide drops conditions could improve as long as the wind doesn't beat down the size of the surf anymore. Keep checking the live cam for any changes. Check back later for another Update.
A reminder also, paid parking started yesterday, Tuesday 3/1/2016 on Wrightsville Beach. Parking rates are $2.50 per hour or $15 per day. Check the live cam for changing conditions and the report for updates.
