Mid-morning Update: Conditions have not let up. There was a sliver of blue sky on the horizon, so there is hope! It is still pretty big out there with a super strong drift! Saw first two surfers I've seen in a couple days out front. They were pretty much paddling north but floating south. That drift is incredible. I would only go out if you are an experienced surfer, strong paddler and duckdiver! If you make it past the inside and find yourself in the right spot you could set yourself up for some good ones. The wind is still gusting at almost 30mph so if you brave it out there I would do what those guys are doing, practice the buddy system. Don't surf alone. Know your limits!
