Afternoon Update: Not looking too good this afternoon. It's knee to thigh high with an occasional waist high wave and choppy with winds hard out of the SSW. Not a whole lot of line or face to work with and the current looks to be pretty bad. No one out from pier to pier.To all the groms, wanna-be-pros, and longboarders…you must wear your leash no matter what size the surf is. Trust me…you aren't impressing anyone by trying to be Joe cool. Seriously, don't ruin the current surf zones by breaking the law!
IMPORTANT! The Water Safety Committee meeting is open to the public for comments regarding surf zones and Red Flag days on Tuesday April 29th at 5pm at WB Town Hall. All who want to express their views regarding public access and Red Flag days are encouraged to come and speak to the committee. Make sure your voice is heard!
