Sunrise Report: Tide is falling but still kind of full. Small waves that are mushy on the outside and trickle into the shorebreak. Nothing great this morning. Looks best for a log or fish. Stay tuned to see if the lower tide helps it.
Note: If anyone comes across any baby sea turtles (some with lots of algae on them) on the beach do not put them back in the water. Call a local authority to let them know or contact Nancy Fahey of WB Sea Turtle Project (910-791-4541) or Jean Beasley at the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Hospital on Topsail Island. These turtles have lost their navigation systems and may be injured during Hanna. Thanks.
