Sunrise Report: A different kind of swell this morning. The ocean looks a little more angry today. Big and peaky with a little chop on it. I like this type of swell a lot better because there are more waves coming through and it breaks just about every where on the beach. Some big peaks and some nice faces and shoulders on most waves if you can stay out of the rips. Most are in chest high range with some bigger sets rolling in. Giving it 3 logos for the the potential to get some nuggets but it will also be dependent on the wind and rain today as well. The wind is light now but it is forecast to blow 20-30mph today out of the SSW-SW so surfing sooner rather than later may be the best call. Catch some for me.
Note: We would like to send out our deepest condolences to the Sweetwater Manager Spencer Lem and the Lem Family. Mr. Lem passed away from a hard fought battle with cancer. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
