A little wave breaking a little more consistently out front now. A few of the bigger sets crumbled for a good ways so they could be longboardable if your keen to get wet. A few people out on the beach scoping it out. No one out in the water still though. Weird overcast weather over us too at the moment. Nothing to be too excited about. Florence floodwaters alone will have tons of pathogens (bacteria, viruses, parasites), in addition to the 5.5 million gallon sewage spill from the Southside wastewater treatment plant, and coal ash pond and hog lagoons breached – all making their way into the Atlantic Ocean eventually. Please consider all this before you decide if/when to get back in the water. Be safe.
