Lunchtime Update

There are a few fun waves behind the shop this afternoon.  Even though it’s nice to see some surf out there, I’m honestly kind of disappointed in what I saw.  It’s kind of disheartening to see a bunch of people all paddling out in the same spot when I can look down the beach and see plenty of empty peaks.  There really is no reason for there to be a congregation of people all in one spot.  Be smart and spread out or don’t be surprised when things get shut down again.  The Town of Wrightsville Beach will open ocean and sound side beach access points and beaches for LIMITED ACCESS at 12:00 PM on Monday, April 20th.  Click HERE for more information.  We will start doing reports again at this time with 3 reports a day until normal operating hours resume.
