Pretty much the same it’s been all day out there. I saw a few more of the bigger ones try to crumble on the outside but there wasn’t anything really to them. There was one guy out behind the shop skimboarding and that definitely looked like the best call for now. It’s still mostly coming in around the thigh to maybe waist high range with everything breaking right on the beach. Good day to be hanging out on the beach though. We are hoping to get some water quality results by Friday from the State so stay tuned. Not trying to scare anyone but please read below for your safety. Florence floodwaters alone will have tons of pathogens (bacteria, viruses, parasites), in addition to the 5.5 million gallon sewage spill from the Southside wastewater treatment plant, and coal ash pond and hog lagoons breached – all making their way into the Atlantic Ocean eventually. Please consider all this before you decide if/when to get back in the water. Be safe and we will do our best to try and keep you updated. *Sweetwater’s All For Fall Sale!
