Mid-Morning Update

Good Morning!  Some chunky dis-organized surf out there this morning.  There were two guys out there messing around, they are braver than me for getting in that water…I think I’ll wait till the tests start coming in on water quality.  The sandbars don’t look great out there, it was breaking all over the place some waves were like 75 yards out while some seemed to miss sandbars and break on the beach.  Not trying to scare anyone but please read below for your safety.  Florence floodwaters alone will have tons of pathogens (bacteria, viruses, parasites), in addition to the 5.5 million gallon sewage spill from the Southside wastewater treatment plant, and coal ash pond and hog lagoons breached – all making their way into the Atlantic Ocean eventually.
