Sunrise Report

Another killer sunrise this morning.  The air temp is amazing too.  Get that yard work started early.  Still not much going on with the surf.  Probably a good thing to let the water dilute a bit after the storm.  Mostly shin to maybe knee high shore break.  Nothing worth getting excited about if you have some things that need to get done like I do.  I put a huge dent in my work.  Feels good trying to get things back to normalcy.   Hope everyone else is making some progress.  Not trying to scare anyone but please read below for your safety.  Florence floodwaters alone will have tons of pathogens (bacteria, viruses, parasites), in addition to the 5.5 million gallon sewage spill from the Southside wastewater treatment plant, and coal ash pond and hog lagoons breached – all making their way into the Atlantic Ocean eventually. Please consider all this before you decide if/when to get back in the water.  Be safe.
