Mid-morning Update: Still looks fun on the sets. Longer wait for the better waves with the outgoing tide but there seems to be more of a face and line now. Saw one or two that looked pretty fun. A handful of guys are out taking advantage of what we have now. Wind is supposed to pick up hard later so get on it. MUST READ RED FLAG NEWS BELOW!
Important news about the Red Flag Meeting- The Board of Aldermen did not take a vote on the new Red Flag proposal Thursday night. Instead they voted to reconvene the original surf zone committe (now the Water Safety Committee) to look over all the facts presented and make recommendations to the Board of Aldermen regarding Red Flags and Swim Zones. This is a much better outcome for all involved. I will keep you posted on the progress. Thanks for everyone's input and passion.
