Mid-morning Update: There is a reason the east coast is the blue collar coast for surf and today is one of 'em. Usually when we get waves there is chop and drift to deal with, but for sizeable waves it's worth it. It's really bumped up in size from earlier. It's pushing head high on a few and maybe slightly bigger. There's actually a good variety of waves up and down the beach. The bomb sets are breaking outside with some wider peaks. It's makeable if you get in early and huff it around. The insides are looking punchy with a nice angle for the rights. I paddle out if I could, but be warned: it's a workout. Have fun if you go..
