Mid-morning Update: A little wave is trying to break here and there. The tide is really on it now though. If a wave did break on the outside, it was pretty weak and crumbly. A couple decent sized sets rolled through that looked like they could be fun if you were in the right spot. A few guys were out up the beach struggling to keep up with the mushy conditions. The main pic is the biggest wave that rolled through while I was out there too. Sets that size were fairly rare so keep that in mind if you're looking to shred. Should be a really nice day today too. Check back later for any changes. Enjoy the rest of the day.
Don't miss the Music and Art Fest on Saturday afternoon/evening at Wrightsville Beach Park from 5pm-9:30pm. Great music and artist there. Proceeds from Tower 7 food will go to Hope From Helen and then to some great no-kill local animal shelters. Paddle board and surf board raffle as well. Hope to see you there.
The 10th Annual O'Neill/Sweetwater Pro-Am is this weekend! First heat starts tomorrow, Friday, at 8am! The heat schedule will be posted outside of Sweetwater later this afternoon.
