Mid-Morning Update

There are some pretty good waves behind the shop this morning.  The only difficult part is going to be staying in the right spot long enough to catch one.  The drift doesn’t look terrible, it’s just a busy line-up with a lot of water moving around.  I think you could possibly get a few really fun waves, just be prepared to have just as many frustrating ones.  The shorebreak does look pretty bad in places so pick where you paddle out carefully if you don’t want to get caught inside.  There’s a pretty short period between waves too, so get ready to duck dive a lot.
